Hannah Horvath and her gang of twenty-something New Yorkers are back this February on HBO. On Tuesday, the cable network has released the first trailer of Girls Season 6.
After exploring the messy world of dating, complicated relationships and the ups and downs of friendship, the final sixth season of "Girls" will see how Hannah, Jessa, Soshana and Marnie enter a new chapter in their lives. On the trailer, Dunham's character contemplates that she haven't made her mark on the city yet. Marnie seems to have it all as her marriage with Desi is staying strong; while Jessa and Adam look pretty over the moon with each other.
Sosh, for her part, still looks anxious as ever. Elijah, meanwhile, looks like that he will enter the Broadway scene this season. Overall, it looks like the girls are ready to face whatever life throws at them before they hit thirty.
As the trailer teased, this season is "their last chance to almost get it right."
While there's a bit sense of maturity in there, that doesn't guarantee that Hannah and her gal pals will not hit a few bumps along the way. As every fan of "Girls" know, Lena Dunham is a bold writer that is not afraid to push the limit of her characters.
In addition to the trailer, HBO also released a first look photo of the new season featuring Hannah.
Created and executive produced by Lena Dunham, "Girls" also stars Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke, Zosia Mamet, Adam Driver, Alex Karpovsky, Andrew Rannels, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Jake Lacy.
The 10-episode final season of "Girls" is slated to premiere on Sunday, Feb. 12 on HBO.
