"Tekken 7" has long been awaited by fans with PC, PS4, and Xbox One release yet to be announced. The game from Bandai Namco has already been released in Japan since 2015.
"Street Fighter's" Akuma has already been confirmed to appear as somewhat like a guest star in the game. However, Bandai Namco wanted to stress that the character is really just a special case with game creator Katsuhiro Harada revealing that Akuma is really part of the franchise's lore.
Other than Akuma, the other characters introduced in "Tekken 7" include Katarina Alves, Claudio Serafino, Lucky Chloe, Shaheen, Gigas, Jack-7, Kazumi Mishima/Devil Kazumi, and Master Raven.
It was also revealed that Harada will probably not be bringing in characters from other titles as a final decision. While on the subject, this is going to be the first time a "Tekken" title will be made for PC gamers especially that it uses the Unreal engine.
It's also rumored that the new "Tekken" title would be getting ported to the PS4 Pro and Xbox Scorpio platforms. Harada, however, has not provided any comment for the meantime on the matter since both consoles are relatively new. What Bandai Namco hopes, on the other hand, is that a number of gamers would grow accustomed to these additions before thinking rolling out the carpet for "Tekken 7" to be introduced to them.
When asked about it, the producer answered that both Microsoft's and Sony's are relatively new, which makes it still too early for him to confirm anything right now, based on reports by Gamespot.
Furthermore, Nintendo might be making a move in bringing in the fighting game for Nintendo Switch. Fans speculated on this since Harada was reported to be pleasantly surprised that the new console has been revealed and is set for a release soon.
