PS4 owners will be finally getting their version of "Ark: Survival Evolved" dinosaur survival game from Studio Wildcard on Dec. 6.
According to Dualshockers, the game will be released as the "ARK: Survivor's Pack," a special package that includes "ARK: Survival Evolved," and "ARK: Scorched Earth," a massive desert-themed add-on, together for $54.99 USD. European gamers, however, can purchase the game and the expansions separately, with base game being €34.99 and the expansion for €19.99. So far, there hasn't been that deal of any kind for North America yet.
The PS4 exclusive content called "The Survivor's Pack" will include features like the Bionic Giganotosaurus skin and a badass Manticore armor set for both male and female characters.
This, however, is still not considered the final product as Studio Wildcard announced that the full game will be finally released sometime on Spring 2017. On the other hand, "Ark: Survival Evolved" will be continuously updated with new dinosaurs, weapons, armor, mechanics, and lifestyle improvements.
Additionally, players who have PS4 Pro can actually play the game at a higher resolution with the option "Detailed Graphics." The PS4 version can only go up to 720p with, while the PS4 Pro will go beyond that and have additional features. Some of these features include framerate improving to 50 FPS to 60 FPS, since the regular console edition can only run at 30 FPS.

"In 'ARK: Survival Evolved,' survivors wake up stranded, naked, freezing, and starving on a mysterious island where they must hunt, harvest, craft items, grow crops, and build shelters to survive in every biome. Survivors will tame, train, and ride more than 100 stunning dinosaurs and other prehistoric beasts, including gargantuan creatures on a scale never before seen in video games! In every available biome - Jungle, Snow, Swamp, Redwood, and Desert - you'll be able to fly an armed Pteranodon squadron over the snow-capped mountains, race through a thick jungle with your pack of trained Raptors, tromp through a fortified enemy base with a convoy of gigantic Brontosaurus, or chase down prey on the back of a raging T-Rex."
In other news, Studio Wildcard released the Patch 252 recently, which includes new challenges for Turkey Trial 2 and a new Breeding Phrase 3, which unlocks new random mutations, as well as new Family Trees.
