Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez is not one to keep her thoughts to herself.
The Miss Universe 2015 first runner-up recently said that she's grown tired of all the bashing she's received from Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach's fans, according to PEP.
In an interview with Steve Harvey on Jan. 19, the Colombian national revealed that she and Wurtzbach haven't had the chance to see each other after the big gaffe during the awarding ceremony.
"Because she's now Miss Universe, she has her own schedules. I haven't been able to see her because she's in New York. I have been in Miami with my family, like resting and enjoying my nephews, my mom, my dad," she explained.
Gutierrez clarified that her not meeting up with Wurtzbach didn't have anything to do with the huge controversy they were both involved in. In fact, Miss Colombia seems to be over all of those shameful moments.
"She's like doing the Miss Universe job. We haven't had the time to see each other," she added.
One detail from the interview that might surprise fans is the fact that Gutierrez said she knows for a fact that she will cross paths with Wurtzbach really soon.
"I think we will meet soon, like really, really soon. And hopefully everyone is going to be done with all the fighting, and the insults in social media and bullying and all those things. Oh my God, I can't handle it anymore!" she said.
In other news, Gutierrez acknowledged the fact that her fans and Wurtzbach's fans are still fighting on social media. The beauty queen said that she understands because their fans are loyal to both of them.
However, Miss Colombia still urged everyone to remain peaceful because it has already been confirmed that Wurtzbach was last year's Miss Universe.
"I understand that Philippines, because you know, Pia is the Miss Universe. Pia is the winner. But it's unfair when you see someone who is like feeling sad and being through a difficult moment and making fun of that. I think Colombians need to stop bashing Pia, and the Philippines needs to stop bashing me and bashing you Steve and everyone," she joked.
