Some 320,000 people witnessed the Japan leg of EXO, which is part of their 3rd concert tour.
According to Allkpop, EXO's Japan leg concluded in Osaka's Kyocera Dome, where the boy group staged a three-day concert from Dec. 9 to 11. Further reports claimed EXO held a total of 15 shows for their Japan leg that started on Sep. 13.
The popular boy group performed some of their hit songs including "MAMA," "Monster," "Lucky One," "White Noise," "Growl," "Overdose," "Love Me Right," "Drop That," "EXO Keep on Dancing," "Girl X Friend," "Heaven," "Coming Over" and some other hit tracks.
Aside from gathering thousands of people for their Japan leg, EXO also reached another milestone of being included on the "20 Best Songs of 2016" list by Fuse. EXO's "Monster" landed on the 19th spot, making them the only Korean idols to be included on the list.
"While the dark, hip-hop sound pulls the listener in initially, it's that undeniable chorus that layers the ninesome's boy-band harmonies, staccato-notes and ad-libs for another level of pop perfection," Fuse wrote about EXO's song as per Soompi.
The "20 Best Songs of 2016" list of Fuse is composed of songs from known Hollywood artists like Beyoncé, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj, Drake, The Weeknd, The 1975, Twenty One Pilots, Lady Gaga and a lot more.
In June, EXO returned with the release of "Monster" and "Lucky One." The two new music was an instant hit, garnering millions of views on YouTube within 24 hours. Aside from that, EXO topped Billboard's World Digital Songs with "Monster."
EXO became the sixth Korean artist or group to dominate the World Digital Songs, alongside PSY, BIGBANG, BTS, 2NE1, CL, Taeyang and G-Dragon. Currently, EXO's "Monster" has been viewed over 80 million times on YouTube.
