The 22nd Star Screen Awards turned out to be star-studded in every sense. The top stars of Bollywood were present to celebrate the fine performances by the industry. Noted professionals were the judges to pick the winners.

Best Film (Jury Choice) was bagged by "Talvar" while Best Film in Popular Choice was given to Salman Khan-starrer "Bajrangi Bhaijaan."
Kabir Khan took home the Best Director award for "Bajrangi Bhaijaan." Ranveer Singh for his spectacular performance in "Bajirao Mastani" won the Best Actor award, he shared the award with Amitabh Bachchan for "Piku."
Best Actor in Popular Choice was given to Shah Rukh Khan and Best Actress in Popular Choice was awarded to Deepika Padukone for "Tamasha" and "Piku."
Harshali Malhotra won the Best Child Actor for her work in "Bajrangi Bhaijaan." Meanwhile, Deepak Dobriyal's unforgettable Pappi Bhai role bagged him Best Supporting Actor for "Tanu Weds Manu Returns."
Best Supporting Actress was given to Priyanka Chopra for his performance in "Bajirao Mastani." Irrfan Khan took home the Best Actor award Jury Choice. Meanwhile, Kalki Koechlin won the Best Actress in Jury Choice for "Margarita with a Straw." Best Male Playback Singer was bagged by Papon while Monali Thakur won the Best Female Playback Singer.
Best Story award was given to "Bajrangi Bhaijaan." In the Best Dialogue category, "Piku" bagged the top prize while "Bajirao Mastani" was given the Best Special Effects award.
The theme of the red carpet of the award show was Bollywood ka Mela and celebs played games and gags at the venue.
Karan Johar and Kapil Sharma handled the anchoring duties and the duo was funny. Later celebs like R. Madhavan and Farah Khan and Shilpa Shetty hosted the award show.
Jacqueline Fernandez was the first performer of the night and she danced on the retro songs. Varun Dhawan was the next one to dance his heart out. Singh gave a power-packed performance and even Akshay Kumar could not sit and joined him a bhangra performance.
Yami Gautam and Pulkit Samrat also danced and Shraddha Kapoor too set the stage on fire.
