In a recent interview with "One Night of TV Entertainment," actor Kim Min Suk talked about several things including his personal life and encounters with other senior actors in the industry.
On the Jan. 3 installment of the program, Kim Min Suk has once again expressed his admiration to Song Joong Ki, whom he has worked with on "Descendants of the Sun." According to Soompi, the "Defendant" actor shared his first impression on the co-actor upon meeting him for the first time.
"When I lived in Busan, I really thought I was handsome. But when I saw Song Joong Ki, I thought to myself, "Wow." Anyone else I saw, I also thought they were really handsome," Kim Min Suk narrated.
Previously, the actor revealed his "Descendants of the Sun" co-actor Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo gave him gifts for his new house, Allkpop noted. He said the Song-Song couple gave him a washing machine and refrigerator.
"I've always enjoyed doing the laundry, and it has become even more joyful thanks to Song Hye Kyo sunbaenim," Kim Min Suk said, adding that Song Joong Ki planned to give him a two-door refrigerator but settled with a more stylish one, considering the location of his new house.
Aside from his appearance on "Descendants of the Sun," Kim Min Suk was also casted on "Doctors," where he had to shave his head. The actor admitted it was not an easy decision, but later made up his mind to push through with the scene.
He said, "I thought to myself, "It's a ridiculous worry that I'm having. If it helps the production, then I should go for it. What [else am I] thinking about?""
It seemed like Kim Min Suk's sacrifice for "Doctors" paid off as he was given the New Star Award at the "2016 SBS Drama Awards" for his role in the drama series.
