Calling all male instrumentalists! Former WINNER member Nam Tae Hyun is looking for members for his new band. The singer took to his social media account to announce that he's forming a band of his own and is looking for members.

The post, written in English, was uploaded on his newly-created Tumblr account. He wrote that he is looking for a male instrumentalist that can play piano, bass, drum or guitar, Koreaboo reported. It also appears that Nam Tae Hyun's band will might play blues or rock tunes, unlike WINNER's pop and R&B sound.

He also indicated his plans for the band, saying that they are going to write songs and perform, as well as hang out and rent a bus to go on tour. "Yes its [sic] costly, but I am doing my best to make it into a place where we could all play music and have fun," the singer wrote. It's unclear whether Nam Tae Hyun and his band are relasing the songs independently or if they will promote under a new agency.

Nam Tae Hyun has been experimenting a lot with his music lately. Aside from uploading new content on his SoundCloud account, he was also spotted DJing at a club in Seoul's Gangnam district. According to witnesses at the event, Nam Tae Hyun was all smiles and looked very healthy. He also interacted with people and the crowd enjoyed his one-hour set.

Nam Tae Hyun terminated his contract with YG Entertainment on Nov. 18 last year and discontinued his activities with WINNER, Soompi reported. The news came after it was announced that he would be taking an indefinite leave from the group to focus on treatment for his mental health issues.

"Although Nam Tae Hyun cannot be with WINNER now, we hope that they will be colleagues who support each other's future individual music activities," the agency added.

YG Entertainment also announced that don't intended to add a new member to replace Nam Tae Hyun. WINNER will be making a comeback this year and will promote as a four-member group.
