"iZombie" actress Rose McIver is set to return as Tinker Bell in ABC's "Once Upon a Time" Season 6. The world of fantasy will get a visit from a most uncommon common fairy.
According to TV Line, McIver reprises her role as Tinker Bell in the live-action soap opera "Once Upon a Time" Season 6. She will recur her role in an episode slated for spring, bring her back a little bit later this season.
McIver's role Tink was first brought to life early in "Once Upon a Time" Season 3 in the midst of the Neverland arc kicked off, Entertainment Weekly reported. She recurred throughout that season, though she played a role in Regina Mills or Evil Queen ("Chase" actress Lana Parrilla) revealing along the way how Regina first came to learn she had Robin Hood ("Timeless" actor Sean Maguire) as her soul mate and then a little bit later threatened to kill her in a cave.
McIver is the latest alum set to return in the back half of "Once Upon a Time" Season 6. She joins the previously announced returns of Maguire, "Pitch" actress JoAnna Garcia Swisher as the mermaid Ariel, and "Graves" actor Alan Dale as King George or Papa Charming. Swisher pops back up for a princess team-up.
It will certainly be a joy to see McIver back in her shimmery green costume as she also returns as zombie detective Liv in "iZombie," which resumes at The CW for its Season 3 on April 4, Tuesday. Her previous TV credits include "Masters of Sex" (2013-2014), the Veronica Mars web series "Play It Again, Dick" (2014), and "Power Rangers R.P.M" (2009).
The production schedules make it difficult for McIver to hop over from one show to the other. However, the only thing that makes it possible is that the two shows are both filming in Vancouver and a smaller episode order for "iZombie" filming, enabling things to work out.
"Once Upon a Time" will return for Season 6 in March.
