"Lost" actor Terry O'Quinn has joined the cast of NBC's new spinoff "The Blacklist: Redemption" as Tom Keen's father. Keen's family is expanding.
According to TV Line, O'Quinn is slated to play as Howard Hargrave in "The Blacklist: Redemption." "Queen" actor Ryan Eggold is still playing as Blacklist undercover operative Keen. "Focus" actor Adrian Martinez is also reported to play as Dumont, while "Unforgettable" actress Tawny Cypress will reprise her role as Nez Rowan.
In the plot of "The Blacklist: Redemption," Hargrave is brilliant, an asymmetrical thinker, a visionary leader, and the founder of the international private military contracting firm Halcyon Aegis wherein his son and wife also work. He is a man driven by deeply held moral convictions that can put him at odds with his business interests. He shares a complex relationship with his wife Susan ("X-Men" actress Famke Janssen) of many years and has suffered profound personal tragedies, Entertainment Weekly reported.
"The Blacklist: Redemption" finds the world's most elusive criminals from Raymond Reddington's ("Avengers: Age of Ultron" actor James Spader) infamous list coming together to form an elite mercenary team as they try to regain their self-worth after a lifetime of inflicting damage on the world. Keen joins the team's brilliant, cunning chief, at the same time his mother, Susan, as well as the lethal assassin and his nemesis Matias Solomon ("Criminal Activities" actor Edi Gathegi).
