‘Dear My Friends’ cameo: ‘Running Man’ star Lee Kwang-soo, Jo In-sung, Sung Dong-il

"Dear My Friends" will feature cameo appearances of "Running Man" star Lee Kwang-Soo, "That Winter, the Wind Blows" actor Jo In-sung and "Moon Lovers" actor Sung Dong-il. The upcoming South Korean drama series will premiere on tvN in May.

Lee is known for being a cast member of the variety show "Running Man" since 2010. He has appeared in several tvN drama series including "Dating Agency: Cyrano" and "Potato Star 2013QR3" in 2013.

Aside from "Dear My Friends," Lee will also have a cameo appearance in the upcoming KBS2 drama series "Descendants of the Sun." He will play Jo Joon-man in the SBS drama series "Puck!" as well.

In-sung has also appeared in several SBS drama series including "What Happened in Bali," "Spring Day" and "That Winter, the Wind Blows." Before his cameo appearance in "Dear My Friends," he played Jang Jae-yeol in "It's Okay, That's Love."

On the big screen, the last film In-sung starred in was the 2008 historical erotic film "A Frozen Flower." He is set to star in his first film since 2008 in "The King" opposite Jung Woo-sung, Fashion N Style has learned.

On the other hand, Sung starred in the tvN series "Reply 1988" in 2015. He is also a part of the cast of the upcoming drama series "Moon Lovers," which will air four months after the "Dear My Friends" premiere.

Directed by Hong Jong-chan, "Dear My Friends" revolves around middle-aged people getting to know the younger generation in the city. It is written by No Hee-kyung, who was also the screenwriter of "That Winter, the Wind Blows."

This is not the first time for No to work with Lee, Jo and Sung. The screenwriter previously worked with the three "Dear My Friends" special guest actors in the SBS drama series "It's Okay, This is Love."

Meanwhile, Lee has been busy serving as an international product endorser. Recently, Japanese carmaker Toyota tapped him to promote RAV4 Hybrid, which beats its rivals with its hybrid system in a crossover considering its size, according to Top Gear.

Also, the "Running Man" star was featured in a Chinese New Year TV commercial for Frutips in Hong Kong with comedians Tats Lau and Lo Fun. Watch the commercial here:
