"The Flash" Season 3 welcomes the new metahuman Gypsy, who first comes out as an adversary for Team Flash. However, spoilers for the midseason revealed that she also likely becomes Cisco's new love interest.
Gypsy makes her appearance in "The Flash" Season 3 episode 11, "Dead or Alive." She arrives to Earth 1 with a mission to bring H. R. Wells back home to Earth 19. Apparently, the novelist committed a crime when he traveled to Earth 1 and now must stand trial.
According to the synopsis for "Dead or Alive" from Spoiler TV, H.R. Wells eventually surrenders. However, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Cisco later learn that H.R.'s survival is at stake, since he has to challenge Gypsy to a fight to the death. Both men decide to intervene, with Cisco offering to fight Gypsy instead.
This is supposedly when Cisco and Gypsy's skills are put to the test. Of course, the latter is more attuned to her powers, so Cisco may be on the losing end of the duel. Regardless of the outcome of the fight, it seems Cisco sees Gypsy more than just his enemy.
Series creator Aaron Helbing teased that Gypsy likely also becomes a new love interest for Cisco in "The Flash" Season 3. He told TV Line that the tech genius becomes enamored with the metahuman, so much so that he cannot stop thinking about her.
"Sleepy Hollow" actress Jessica Camacho plays Gypsy in "The Flash" Season 3 episode 11. In the DC comics, the metahuman also possesses similar skills as Cisco. She has telepathic abilities and knows martial arts. She can also blend into her surrounding, like a chameleon, and can project illusions in people's minds. Clearly, Gypsy is a "very strong adversary" for Cisco and Team Flash, as what Helbing said in his interview.
