Sony Xperia E5 is about to have updates on its software, which involves its security. This started back in October when developers did some bug fixings for the Android operating system.
In an article published by GSM Arena, the version that users will see this time will be 37.0.A.2.156. There are still no reports regarding the specifics on the changes that will happen once it is updated. The European market is the first who will experience the update followed by other countries in the Western part of the globe.

The company would like to remind that not everyone who is using the said unit will immediately get an update. This could take some time because of the usual OTA rollouts. However, one could always do it manually by going to the Settings of the phone and see if the update is already available.
According to the Android Soul, the security update comes with the new Android software, which is now the 6.0 Marshmallow. Some manufacturers have already updated the security system of some of the handsets even back in December of last year.
For those who are not aware, the Sony Xperia E5 is considered a budget smartphone with a 5-inch 720p display. The quality is not bad for an affordable smartphone these days. It also has 1.5GB of Ram, which is all one really needs to call, send a short message and even browse the Internet. It started with Android 6.0 and its update might probably not reach the Nougat system.
Its camera is also not bad for a budget smartphone since this one offers 13MP for the rear and 5MP for its front camera. Installing the update could use up the battery quickly, so users are advised to fully charge it before anything else. A Wifi connection is also needed for this process.
