Charlotte has her plans mapped out when it comes to using Chloe to get back to Heaven in "Lucifer" Season 2. Showrunner Ildy Modrovich revealed that Charlotte will use Lucifer's feelings for her benefit.
Modrovich said that Charlotte plans to manipulate Lucifer Morningstar's (Tom Ellis) affections for Chloe Decker (Lauren German) in "Lucifer" Season 2.She will stop at nothing to get what she wants, even though it means using her son as a pawn.
"She's going to use Lucifer's feelings against him. She's going to weaponize those feelings, putting the relationship between Lucifer and Chloe in major jeopardy," Modrovich told TV Line.
Likewise, the series creator revealed that Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) will not hesitate to use Chloe too if she is the answer to her plans. Charlotte wants nothing more than to get her family back. She wants them all to go back to Heaven together and she will use all means necessary to make this happen.
Modrovich likewise shared the same information in a previous interview with the publication. He said that Charlotte will think of more ways to "weaponize" her knowledge about Chloe, that she is a miracle baby.
Modrovich said that fans will know right away early in the second half of "Lucifer" Season 2, how Charlotte plans to use Chloe. The midseason premiere saw Charlotte manipulate both Chloe and Lucifer's feelings for each other.
In "Lucifer" Season 2 episode 11, Charlotte tried to convince Chloe that she is good for Lucifer, since he is different when he is around her. On the other hand, she pretended to agree with her son that Chloe is special. She told Lucifer that she has changed her mind about the detective and said that she is good for him.
Of course, Lucifer does not know about his mother and Amenadiel's plans. Likewise, the trailer for "Lucifer" Season 2 episode 12 teased that Charlotte may have had a hand in Chloe kissing Lucifer in episode 11.
