Hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong expressed his love to his loved ones and supporters through a short message posted on his official website.
The 30-year-old actor opened the letter by confessing that he had been having a hard time lately. He later extended his genuine appreciation to everyone who still believes in him.
“It's been a long time. How are you? I had been contemplating on what to say the last few days.
Enduring much pain and hardship, I have come to realize that I am such a weak person,” reads Kim’s letter as quoted by All KPop.
He continued: “However, I was able to hold on thanks to my family and friends, and to everyone who has believed in me. This is why I was thankful for each day. Which makes me want to ask you all this question. Is everyone doing well? I would like to talk more face to face. Thank you so much always… Sincerely, Kim Hyun Joong”.
In 2014, the “Boys Over Flowers” star faced a court battle against his ex-girlfriend, known to have the surname of Choi, who filed domestic violence charges, resulting in miscarriage, against him. Furthermore, the woman also accused Kim of forced abortion.
However, the Seoul Central District Court decided in August last year to believe Kim’s side and cited that the complainant lacked significant evidence and that the abortion was a mutual decision by both parties. Due to this, Choi has to pay Kim W100 million for the damages she had caused him, The Chosun Ilbo reports.
Kim is set to return from his military service in February 2. His talent management agency KeyEast asked his supporters through released statement to support the actor in his comeback as he faces the new chapter of his life.
