"Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" will be getting its second story based DLC pack next month, according to Square Enix and Eidos Montreal.
According to Gamespot, the second story based DLC pack is called "A Criminal Past," which features a prequel story set "some time" before the start of the main game "Mankind Divided." The story tells of the protagonist Adam Jensen and his first mission with TF29.
According to the DLC's official description, it reads: "Jensen is transferred deep into a hostile, high-security prison for augmented felons. His mission: track down and retrieve sensitive information from a fellow undercover agent who has gone dark. Success will help the fight against terror around the world, but Jensen will need to confront a darker side to his role before the day is done."
So far there hasn't been any trailers or screenshots of the DLC other than the official image below:
This is the second story DLC with the first being "System Rift" released last year Sept. 23. According to PlayStation Blog, the story tells of Francis Pritchard, Adam Jensen's friend and former colleague at Sarif Industries, returns in System Rift, and new colorful banter between these two characters adds an interesting dynamic to their relationship. Fans of Breach, our new game mode included in Mankind Divided, will get to meet ShadowChild in person and experience the origin story of the 'Breach' itself," according to lead writer Avi Winkler.
"System Rift" also comes with a patch that fixes a lot of issues and adds DirectX 12 support, which can be accessed through Steam.
Both "System Rift" and "A Criminal Past" will be part of the $30 season pass. While "System Rift's" price is currently at $10, "A Criminal Past" has still yet to get one.
"A Criminal Past" DLC for "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" will be out on Feb. 23. More details will come soon.
