Recent photos from the set of "Lucifer" Season 2 in Vancouver show Maze and Lucifer Morningstar fighting each other. Both look very exhausted with blood all over their face.
Casts and crew shot some scenes for "Lucifer" Season 2 at the MNP Tower in downtown Vancouver on Wednesday. Several bystanders took photos and some videos of Tom Ellis (Lucifer) and Lesley-Ann Brandt (Maze) film what appears to be a fight scene.
Hollywoodnorth.buzz shared the set photos from "Lucifer" Season 2, which show Maze and Lucifer grapple with each other. At one point, Maze tries to choke Lucifer and the latter attempts to hurl her down to the ground. However, the demon gives the devil the right hook. Both Lucifer and Maze look exhausted with their face covered with blood.
It is unclear what Maze and Lucifer are fighting about in "Lucifer" Season 2. It is obvious though from the intensity in their fight that it is something serious. Does it involve Chloe Decker, Charlotte or Amenadiel?
Regardless, the photos came after Executive Producer Ildy Modrovich revealed that the midseason sees Maze rebel against the devil. He said that the second half of "Lucifer" Season 2 will show Maze try to become independent and doing so puts her on Lucifer's bad side.
Modrovich revealed that Maze eventually sides with Charlotte's plan to use Chloe Decker (Lauren German) as means for them to get back to Heaven. There may come a point that she also goes behind Lucifer's back.
"She'll be pushed into having to, maybe, possibly, hurt Lucifer, and be part of mom's plan. She'll get to the point where she'll think that maybe she has to even betray Lucifer, in order to get full independence," Modrovich told TV Line.
Somehow, these set photos for "Lucifer" Season 2 seem to hint at Maze's betrayal. The only reason Lucifer would engage in a bloody fight with his loyal confidante, is if she has done something that truly angered him.
