KPop star Sehun of the boy group EXO is undeniably one of the most popular celebrities in South Korea. And proving that fact is the singer's growing Instagram followers which has recently reached 9 million subscribers.
Last year, the 22-year-old artist was ranked as the third most-followed Korean celebrity on Instagram next to his fellow EXO member Chanyeol which currently holds 9.8 million followers and Big Bang’s G-Dragon which hold the top spot with his 12.7 million subscribers, All KPop reported. Meanwhile, in the female category, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon ranked first with her 8.9 million devoted supporters, followed by actress Park Shin Hye (6.1million), and Hallyu star Jessica Jung (5.6 million).
Meanwhile, Sehun’s fellow band member Suho has recently appeared on MBC FM4U's ”Blue Night”. During his guesting, the KPop idol talked about his plans of starting an SNS account and has likewise spilled some information about EXO’s much anticipated return.
"…We plan to promote during the summer so we got a lot of free time in January and February. I met close friends and also went to the U.S.," Suho told the program hosts as quoted by All KPop.
He added: "I'm actually thinking about starting SNS accounts. SNS is a double edged sword for both celebrities and non-celebrities. Sehun even used to get confirmation from me (before uploading things on SNS). But my recent hobby is taking pictures. I take and save them but have nowhere to share them so I'm thinking about it now. I'm also thinking about opening up an exhibition."
Sehun and Suho began their entertainment career in 2012 after joining EXO alongside Xiumin, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O, Kai, and the former members Kris, Tao and Luhan. Ever since their debut, the group has already sold a total of 7 million physical albums.
