No actor, no matter how good he may be, can escape from criticisms and hate comments. In fact, Ryu Jun Yeol has become the newest subject of an online rant from an anti-fan.
According to Allkpop, a netizen, who appeared to be a hater of Ryu Jun Yeol, created a Twitter account to attack the Korean actor. The anti-fan particularly criticized the "Reply 1988" actor for his physical appearance.
"Those who say Ryu Jun Yeol is handsome are all mad crazy," the hater said in a post. Another tweet stated, "I am purely an anti of Ryu Jun Yeol's face. That's all I can tell you so stop DM-ing me."
The hater even dragged Rap Monster's name in one of its posts and said the BTS member and the actor think highly of themselves. "Rap Monster and Ryu Jun Yeol are monsters resulted from patriarchy," the anti-fan posted.
It added, "They sincerely think they are handsome. I can feel it from their actions and facial expressions. That's scary. They're [explicit] ugly!"
As expected, fans of the two celebrities took offense of the remarks and slammed the person behind the anti-Ryu Jun Yeol account. Some of them bombarded the Twitter account, while others have called out for the removal of the anti-fan profile.
Ryu Jun Yeol is a notable actor known for his roles in "Socialphobia," "Reply 1988" and "Lucky Romance." Regardless of what he is asked to do, the 30-year-old would comply with anything to portray his character effectively.
In a V app broadcast, Ryu Jun Yeol shared how he struggled to learn one thing for "The King." As per Soompi, the Korean actor had to turn into a smoker for his role in the movie.
"Once the cameras rolled, I found myself smoking with ease. Before, even the smell of cigarettes would make me cough, but I was able to do it this time," he said, adding that anything is possible if you have the courage to do it.
