Following the incident at 2PM's "6 Nights" concert last Sunday, Jun. K is finally back on social media to update his fans about his condition and plans.
According to Allkpop, the 2PM member took to his Twitter account to talk about his recent accident. "Everything was so chaotic for the past few days," Lay wrote on Wednesday.
He went on, "I'm so sorry and thankful to the many people worried about me, our fans, and the members. I'll recover soon to go back to you healthily."
The 2PM member suffered from broken elbow and finger after falling off the stage of their "6 Nights" concert. The show last Sunday was supposed to be the third day of the concert series. However, it was immediately cancelled after the accident.
Reports stated Jun. K had a 9-foot fall from moving platforms which caused him injuries. Soompi cited the idol has already undergone surgery for the fractured bones.
After the "6 Nights" accident, JYP Entertainment has decided to cancel the remainders of 2PM's concert series scheduled from Marc. 3-5. It also stated that they will soon notify the fans for ticket refunds.
"Though Jun. K has continuously expressed a strong desire to stand on stage again to keep his promise with his fans, we believe what is best for him is to rest and have a speedy recovery," the agency announced.
Aside from that, JYP Entertainment vowed to take legal action against those who are spreading false reports regarding Jun. K's accident. In a separate statement, the label thought that some netizens have gone over the top with their comments and claims on the incident.
Hence, they have finally decided to take a stand in order to protect Jun. K and the rest of 2PM from these defamatory remarks. JYP Entertainment emphasized they will continue to uphold the rights of their artists in the future.
