Billboard recently acknowledged A.R.M.Y as the best fandom ever, and here are five solid reasons why.
They are loyal and devoted to BTS, specifically when it comes to retweets
BTS fans can easily make any BTS-related topic a trending topic globally. As a matter of fact, Forbes reported that BTS was the most retweeted artist in February 2016, surpassing even some of the biggest musical acts such as Kanye West, Justin Bieber and Zayn Malik.
They helped BTS set new records in various local and global charts
Big Hit Entertainment CEO Bang Si Hyuk said in an interview that they owe BTS' success to the fans. He previously said in an interview with it is "100 percent the power of fans" to brought BTS to where they are now. Indeed, it was because of fans' dedication to the group and love for their music that BTS was able to set multiple records on various music charts. One of BTS' titles is that their "Wings" album is the all-time best selling album on the Gaon Chart.
They have a strong bond with BTS
BTS and A.R.M.Y. have quite a unique bond that even resulted in the group writing a special song just to show fans their gratitude.
They apologize to other fandoms
Fandom wars are common in the K-Pop community. Oftentimes, it can lead to heated arguments on forums and bashing on social media sites. A.R.M.Y, however, is one of the more sensible groups that are willing to apologize whenever they are in the wrong. The group previously wrote letters addressed to other fandoms in an attempt to solve disputes between all of them.
A.R.M.Y. helped BTS get a BBMAs invite
It was because of the continuous efforts of fans to tweet Billboard that BTS eventually got an invitation to the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, where the group is nominated for the Top Social Media Artist category.
