South Korean boy band U-Kiss announced on Monday, June 6 via their official Twitter account that they will be donating a percentage of the proceeds from their latest album sales to charity.
The group, who have laid low for over a year, said they want to make a difference in the community. The band chose to support the Culture and Arts Education Division of AbleArt Center, an organization that helps talented artists with disabilities to reach their dreams.
The group's announcement came with a photo card, which is included in U-Kiss' mini-album. The photo cards show the band member's individual photos plus handwritten messages on the front including artworks by different artists from the center on the back, according to Soompi. Each album will get a photo card arbitrarily.
The band's new single and eleventh mini-album is set to hit the rack on Tuesday, June 7, according to Yibada. The album will feature six tracks including Stalker, Stalker (instrumental version), Favorite Girl, Heartless, Even If I Close My Eyes, and Take It Slow.
Teasers of its upcoming album started making rounds on the Internet on Monday. The band has unveiled some sneak peeks of its members' images as well as some cuts and music video teasers from the album.
Of note, this is not the first instance the group will share their blessings to charity. In 2013, U-Kiss hosted an auction program where they sold their on-stage outfits and signed copies of albums to help around 200,000 individuals who were affected by strong flood in Indonesia.
