A female fan of South Korean actor Kim Min Jong has been fined by the Seoul Central District Court of Appeals for attempting to break into the actor's apartment building.
The 37-year-old fan, who wanted to meet Mrs. Cop actor, was fined $424 (500,000 won) on June 12.
According to the court, the woman "deliberately sought out Mr. Kim's house and disturbed the peace of the neighbors of the apartments."
She tried to see Kim Min Jong in September last year. The woman was able to reach the hallway directly outside of Kim Ming Jong's apartment.
The police was called by neighbors who complained about her banging on the door and pressing the doorbell multiple times. This incident took place after midnight.
According to Soompi, this is not the woman's first run in with the law. She had been in a previous trial because she argued with and assaulted the owner of the place she was renting.
She was fined a similar amount but was acquitted of the charges. She had been charged with because her landlord fell while they were arguing. However, she was acquitted of the charges because the landlord testified that it is unlikely the incident was intentional.
