EXO's latest album EX'ACT continues to dominate the album sales chart in its second week.
The boy band's third album has been ranked first and second on physical album sales charts including Aladdin, Hanteo, Hottracks, Synnara, and Yes24, according to Allkpop.
Before the band officially debuted the album, EXO set a record for preorder sales after securing more than 660,000 orders for copies. This is the highest preorder sales for any of the group's album in Korea so far.
During an interview earlier this month, one of its members of EXO, Suho, expressed worry about how the public will welcome their upcoming album. "I'm always afraid everytime we make a comeback," he said.
"I know there are fans who believe in us and patiently wait for us, but as singers and performers, we feel like we should show something new different," the singer said. "If it's too different, then people might criticize us and say, 'This isn't EXO style... If we keep on releasing similar [music], then people might think we're just doing the same thing over and over again."
