After tying the knot with his non-celebrity wife in the latter part of November in 2015, Dongho, a former member of the South Korean boy band U-KISS, is now officially a father!
The news was revealed by the South Korean national broadcaster KBS. Prior to the network’s announcement, the singer had already shared the good news with his celebrity baseball player friends who started circulating the information.
According to Soompi, Dongho’s wife, who is one year his senior, has given birth to baby boy.
Further details about Dongho’s newborn child are expected to be disclosed during his upcoming appearance on MBC’s talk show ‘Radio Star’ with model Joo Woo Jae, rapper Lee Joon-kyung (also known as Dok2), and actor Kim Bo-sung.
Now a new member of the Korean entertainment scene ‘Daddy’s Club,’ Dongho is considered to be the youngest former members of a boy band to become a father.
Dongho, born as Shin Dongho, joined the all boy group U-KISS (Ubiquitous Korean International Idol Super Star) with Soohyun, Kibum, Eli, Kevin, and Alexander in 2008 under the management of NH Media.
After five years of working with his bandmates, the 21-year-old singer left U-KISS to keep his private life and pursue other plans despite being one of the most active members of the group.
On November 28 last year, he got married to his longtime friend in a private ceremony at Seoul's Patio Nine.
Dongho is currently busy with his new career as a DJ.
