During the said interview with MTV, Lerman acknowledge the movie and gave out his endless gratitude for the opportunities that opened for him because of the film.

After being casted in both "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief" and "Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters," Lerman was then spotted in different movies, alongside with some of the award winning actors. Right after "Percy Jackson" franchise, he was casted in the "The Three Musketeers." Then in 2014, he was casted in the movie "Noah" as Noah's son Ham, although the major movie that Lerman landed into was the film where he worked alongside with Brad Pit, titled "Fury."

The same publication also stated that the budget for the upcoming series ranges from $12-14 million, just for the first season and first half of the second season. It is also stated that even if "Percy Jackson" would come out as a television series rather than a film, Lerman would not take part in any of it anymore.
