It was just a couple of weeks ago when the historical fantasy series, "Reign," wrapped up its third season, and since the series is already renewed for a fourth installment, latest reports are loud that the casting of Season 4's new characters already started.
It can be recalled that the finale episode of "Reign" Season 3 featured the clash between Mary, Queen of Scots (Adelaide Kane), and her cousin Queen Elizabeth (Rachel Skarsten). It also showed how Elizabeth managed to place Mary's longtime friend, Lola (Anna Popplewell), into public execution after she was caught to be involve with the plans to eliminate Queen Elizabeth in order to help Mary.
According to Christian Times, "Reign" Season 4 may rotate under a storyline involving Mary pursuing to get Queen Elizabeth's throne. It was also said that Lola's death will ignite Mary's hatred towards her cousin, given that the Queen of Scots has already seek the assistance of Gideon (Ben Geurens).
The publication also cited a possible entry of five new characters in "Reign" Season 4. Among these new cast members are the children of Catherine de' Medicci (Megan Follows), namely Leesa and Henry, the son of Stephan Narcisse (Craig Parker), as well as the two men who will try to get Mary's heart.
Meanwhile, the same publication noted that Narcisse's son, Luc, may be played by Steve Lund, while one of Mary's love interest Lord Darnley will be portrayed by Will Kemp.
In addition, according to TV Line, the team behind "Reign" has already started seeking for the possible actress who will fill the role of Leesa, who has been said to be neglected by her mother Catherine.
As of the moment, there is still no confirmation relating to the release date of "Reign" Season 4; however, rumor has it that the fourth installment may premiere on summer 2017.
