While fans wait for "Supernatural" Season 12 to premiere, Collins has dropped a spoiler about Castiel's storyline in an interview. The actor shared that fans should expect to see Castiel returning to his old self while also getting his mojo back.
"Season 12 is actually going to feel like we're getting back to the show's roots," he told Nerdist.
"It's going to feel a lot like earlier seasons of the show, which I'm excited about and the same really goes for my character in particular."
Collins also added that he wishes to see his fan-favorite character go back to his badass, warrior quality. Moving forward, it seems that Collins' aspirations for Castiel will finally happen, as the actor confirmed that the writers are actually headed in that direction in "Supernatural" Season 12.
"Supernatural" Season 12 premieres on Thursday, Oct. 13 on the CW.
