Actress Deepika Padukone has reportedly hiked her fee to around Rs. 15 crores per movie.
She also becomes highest paid actress in Bollywood, overtaking her rivals Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Katrina Kaif and Kangana Ranaut.
The 30-year-old actress has bagged Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next project "Padmavati" opposite her rumored boyfriend Ranveer Singh, Bollywood Life reported. The actress director duo earlier worked together in box office hit movies "Galiyon Ki Rasleela Ram Leela" and "Bajirao Mastani."
As per Indian entertainment news portals, Padukone has apparently increased her remunaration for the "Padmavati." A source close to her, however, clarified that the actress is yet to sign the movie and money has not been discussed in that regard, Times of India reported.
The "Tamasha" actress is also being considered for fourth installment of Ajay Devgn's highly successful "Golmaal" franchise. Actor Arshad Warshi recently revealed that either Padukone or Alia Bhatt might work in "Golmaal 4" as female lead.
The "Piku" actress is making her Hollywood debut in Vin Diesel' "XxX: Return of Xander Cage" in which she will be seen together with Hollywood stars like Nina Dobrev, Samuel L Jackson and Ruby Rose. The sequel of highly successful 2003 "XxX" movie is slated to hit theaters in early months of 2017.
