Following their decision to disband in June, fans of 4Minute are curious about the whereabouts of their idols. 4Minute reportedly decided to end their journey as a group, which the agency cleared out to be a unanimous decision of the five members.
A representative of Cube Entertainment revealed they attempted to convince 4Minute to continue their career as a group; however, the members refused to take the offer.
"As the contract end date approaches, the members have been in discussions for renewal, but while the agency tried to persuade them to continue the group, it ended up accepting the decision by the five members that they will not continue as a group," Soompi quoted the representative as saying.
After more than a month of disbandment, the former members of 4Minute seemed to have kept a low-key life as they are rarely seen; however, Sohyun was recently spotted at a flea market where the singer seemed to be selling her old 4Minute goodies, Allkpop reported.
According to reports, the flea market called "Back To The Market" is an initiative of H.O.T. member Jang Woo Hyuk, who also managed his own booth, alongside four other vendors. Meanwhile, Sohyun in an Instagram post thanked 4Minute fans who came to support her in her good cause.
"Thank you all for coming to #backtothemarket! It was good to see 4nia for the first time in a long time. Thank you! We'll put the money to good use," she captioned the post.
The South Korean girl group debuted in 2009 with their first single entitled "Hot Issue." A year later, 4Minute released their first Japanese album called "Diamond." Aside from that, the girl group also released a Korean full-length album "4Minutes Left" in 2011. The group won three Bonsang awards (Main Prize) at the Seoul Music Awards in 2011, 2012 and 2014.
