An Adnan Januzaj move from Manchester United will reportedly cost Sunderland AFC around £10 million to complete, but new manager David Moyes is keen on a reunion with his former Old Trafford young gun.

Moyes was the 21-year-old Belgian winger's head coach when he made his debut as a senior with the Red Devils back in 2013 and the current Black Cats boss wants him back to his side at the Stadium of Light next season.

Januzaj and Moyes had a great relationship during the 2013-2014 season as the young winger was utilized in a total of 35 matches in all competitions and was able to score four times during that period.

The Sun reported that Januzaj is also interested in the reunion and would want a permanent transfer deal to Moyes' side rather than exiting United again on loan.

The Belgium international was loaned to Bundesliga powerhouse Borussia Dortmund last term but had struggled for first-team time under head coach Thomas Tuchel, appearing in only six scoreless games in the German top flight competitions. He was eventually called back by then United manager Louis van Gaal in January.

Rumors abound that current Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho had already told Januzaj that he was not part of his plans next season and so he is free to leave the Old Trafford whenever he wants to. This may be the reason why the 6-foot Brussels native is seeking a permanent transfer instead of another loan spell.

However, the Black Cats have enough budget for only a loan deal and will not be able to meet a £10 million permanent signing at the moment, according to Caught Offside.

The article said that Moyes wants to replicate what he successfully did in Everton from 2002 to 2013 when he "made the most of limited resources at Goodison Park with great results". It continued to say that "a big-money signing such as splashing out £10m on Januzaj would be a significant departure from that model", even though the said cost is rather cheap if you compare it to the recent signings of today.

It remains to be seen whether Januzaj will agree to another loan deal just to join his former boss, but it seems like he has no other options since he was already told that he is not wanted at the Old Trafford next term.
