"The Walking Dead" fans are eagerly waiting for Season 7 to return but they must also get ready for drastic changes as it is going to be a brand new season, Norman Reedus has said. It is said that fans will get to watch some beach locations, as part of the shooting will be done on Jekyll Island in Georgia.
During an interview, Reedus said that it was hard for them to go back to seventh season's shooting and continue the scene where Negan kills off one member of the group. According to the actor, filming the cliffhanger scene was no fun and exhausted them completely, The Bit Bag reported.
Detailing the experience, he said that it was completely in contrast to what they felt while shooting the previous seasons. The previous seasons had all the actors coming back with an enthusiastic mindset, excited to see each other; however, "The Walking Dead" Season 7 is different. Everyone has a reluctant feeling and the experience is not at all positive.
Reedus also hinted that "The Walking Dead" Season 7 will be featuring a brand new world. He said that Negan's entry has led to a complete change of power, and the world of the survivors has been turned upside down. The heroes are in distress and things are completely different now, as the characters will face a lot of trouble and will no longer be their past selves.
In other news, it has been stated that "The Walking Dead" Season 7 will have some beach locations too. Georgia Department of Natural Resources has given permission to the TWD production company to shoot some scenes in Jekyll Island, Cinema Blend reported.
It is said that the Jekyll Island shoot could feature a scene that is related to Negan, or it might have something to do with Ezekiel, who will be introduced in "The Walking Dead" Season 7 along with his pet tiger Shiva.
"The Walking Dead" Season 7 airs on Oct. 23 on AMC.
