YG Entertainment will be airing its first variety show via SBS on September.
This is the first variety show YG Entertainment would produce since it was established by Yang Hyun-suk in 1996, YG United reported. The agency will launch "Flower Crew" with the broadcasting station, SBS.
"Flower Crew" was first broadcasted through the Naver V App. The show starring Seo Jang Hoon, Jo Se Ho, Ahn Jung Hwan, Yoo Byung Jae, Kim Min Suk and Bangtan Boys' member, Jungkook, received positive response from viewers.
The new episodes of the variety show will no longer include Jungkook and Kim Min Suk because of their hectic schedules. To replace them, the producers picked Lee Jae Jin and Eun Ji Won to add more fun to the clique, Soompi reported.
Yoo Byung Hae and Eun Ji Won's group, Sechs Kies, are both under the management of YG. Meanwhile, Eun Ji Won has been casted in other variety shows such as "New Journey to the West" and "2 Nights and 1 Day."
YG is a big name in the Korean music industry, managing artists like BIGBANG, iKON, WINNER, Jinusean, Epik High, 2ne1 and the new Kpop sensation, Black Pink. In addition, actors and entertainers including Choi Ji Woo, Cha Seung Won, Kang Dong Won, Yoo Byung Jae, Ahn Young Mi and Kim Hee-ae were contracted by the agency.
"Flower Crew" is filled with travel experiences of the six characters whose luck and fate depend on the live votes of the audience. SBS will air the first episode on September 5 at 11 p.m. KST.
