Fans are clueless as to what's going to happen in Season 7 of "Game of Thrones" since the HBO series has already taken over the books by author George R.R. Martin. Nonetheless, watchful followers of the show have dug up some fresh details that could, at the very least, give some clues on who will be introduced when the fantasy drama returns.

An undisclosed source gave fan site Watchers on the Wall a casting list of vacant roles. Although the names for the characters were not listed, their titles and descriptions were revealed.

According to the website, the producers are looking for a 40- to 55-year-old white actor with a British RP accent to take on the role of a military general. There is also a vacancy for a the role of a priest, and the actor should be a while male in his 60s who also uses an RP accent. Zap2It surmises that the two characters could have scenes together in King's Landing.

Meanwhile, the role of warrior is described as an "excellent part for a top-end actor." The character needs to be portrayed by a 35- to 45-year-old white male with a neutral English accent. He needs to have excellent fighting skills and will have dialogue of a "considerable" amount.

There are also roles reportedly open for a gate guard, and the actor needs to be in his 20s and should have confidence, wit, charisma, and timing. The city guard, on the other hand, should be in his 30s with an RP accent. Other roles that are included in the list are merchant, lovely lady, young lord, and lieutenant.

There is no indication as to how these characters will contribute to the story - how they're going to make life more difficult for the fan-favorite main characters or help them out - but fans just might find out when the show returns in next year.

According to Entertainment Weekly, "Game of Thrones" Season 7 will air in summer 2017, later than the usual spring airing, and it will have only seven episodes instead of the usual 10. Nonetheless, fans can expect the excitement to escalate as the coming of winter draws near.
