Maisie Williams, the actress who portrays Arya Stark in "Game of Thrones," will be returning in the HBO series' seventh season. She shared with her social media followers that she just read the script, and it seems Season 7 something worth looking forward to.
"just finished reading season 7," she wrote in a series of tweets. "s*** gets REAL/ i'd start preparing yourselves now/ scratch that, nothing will prepare you for this"

This teaser will certainly get fans excited. In Seasons 1 to 5, even with author George R.R. Martin's books to guide them, viewers were still shocked at how the events developed on the small screen. Now, with the sixth and seventh books in the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series still not in the shelves, fans are no doubt going to have to brace themselves.
There are many speculations as to what might happen in "GoT" Season 7. These include Jon Snow marrying either Sansa Stark or Daenerys Targaryen, although both women are presumed to be his cousins - the former on his mother's side (people guess his mother to be Liana Stark) and the latter, on his father's (speculated to be Rhaegar Targaryen). Sansa could give him claim to Winterfell, but it could also be that he'd be declared a Stark in the same way that Ramsay Snow became Ramsay Bolton.
Also, it is speculated that Bran might reveal who Jon's real parents are, that Dany would form an alliance with Dorne, and that Arya will reunite with her remaining siblings in Winterfell.
Williams has been nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress for the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards, and she is vying against her "GoT" co-stars Lena Headey and Emilia Clarke. These are three of the 23 nominations the show received, which include Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Supporting Actor for Peter Dinklage and Kit Harington.
According to an earlier report on Entertainment Weekly, HBO's programming president Casey Bloys expressed that he wants to do 10 seasons. However, showrunners Dan Weiss and David Benioff reportedly want to conclude the series in Season 8. Although the number of episodes has not been finalized, it might have only six, one less than Season 7.
"Game of Thrones" Season 7 is expected to air in summer of 2017, later than the usual spring airing.
