Ubisoft's "Watch Dogs 2" shows a grand open world depicting a computer rendered San Francisco with myriads of in-game activities to try out. A recent gameplay video showcased the game character roaming around the area, driving, sneaking, taking selfies and hacking everything he comes across.

Players place themselves in the shoes of Marcus Holloway, an expert hacker who collaborates with hacker activists ("hacktivists") called DedSec to disrupt the city's established surveillance system. According to a report from Polygon, audiences witnessed Marcus having an array of tools at his disposal. Some of these items even include a quadcopter drone and RC jumper, which is a remote controlled device on wheels used to hack from a distance.

Stealth and combat are one of the gameplay essentials in "Watch Dogs 2." The protagonist Marcus can utilize combat tools like a stun gun to a lethal 3D-printed gun. The video showcased him sneaking around and resorting to nonlethal combat to successfully infiltrate a building.

Driving is also a key component in the game, with UK-based Ubisoft Reflections, developer for the "Driver" series, was also asked to assist the gameplay mechanic.

PC Gamer also mentions about the online multiplayer gameplay mechanic having a mode called "Bounty Hunter." Here, players are being chased tirelessy by the police in what developers call a "bounty event" until it comes to an end.

This bounty event also allows up to four players to join in, three of them joining pursuit or even aiming to kill the player, who takes the role of the felon. This triggers the player versus player (PVP) event where they will either side with the police or increase the bounty on their head if they constantly provoke them.

Meanwhile, the game also brings in the Nethack view, which is almost similar to the Detective Mode in the "Arkham" series and the Eagle vision in "Assassin's Creed."

"Watch Dogs 2" will hit shelves for the PlayerStation 4, PC and Xbox One on Nov.15.
