Just a few weeks before "Blue Bloods" Season 7 premieres, a newly released trailer has somehow hinted for a possible detention of Danny Reagan for shooting an unarmed serial killer on the previous season.
The "Blue Bloods" Season 7 trailer released by Spoiler TV showed how Danny Reagan is being questioned in the trial for the death of Thomas Wilder. The shooting case of Wilder was reopened after the Attorney General's Office found new evidence against Danny Reagan who supposedly said it was a self-defense incident.
Meanwhile, some of the new faces who will be joining the upcoming season of the CBS drama series include Lori Loughlin and Michael Imperioli. The "Full House" actress plays as the widow of a slain police officer, while "The Sopranos" actor will take the role of Atty. Robert Lewis, who will be investigating Danny Reagan on the shooting case, Entertainment Weekly reported.
On the other hand, Tom Selleck is confirmed to make a comeback in "Blue Bloods" Season 7 as Police Commissioner Frank Reagan. Other familiar faces who will return for the new season include Tony Terraciano, Andrew Terraciano, Abigail Hawk, Gregory Jbara and Robert Clohessy.
Following the success of "Blue Bloods" Season 6, which made them the 5th most-watched drama on CBS, the police procedural drama series was renewed by the network for another season alongside ten other TV programs. In March, CBS Entertainment announced the renewal of "Blue Bloods," "Elementary," "NCIS: Los Angeles," "Madam Secretary," "Mom," "Hawaii Five-0," "NCIS: New Orleans," "Scorpion," "The Amazing Race," "Survivor" and "2 Broke Girls."
"Blue Bloods" has recorded pretty decent ratings since it was released in Sept. 2010; hence, its renewal was not a surprise as it is deemed to be Friday's most-watched TV series following the trail of "Law & Order: SVU" in 2002.
