Michael Scofield is making some changes for the upcoming "Prison Break" Season 5. After he was assumed dead in the previous season aired seven years ago, Scofield will soon return as a changed man for the new installment of the Fox drama.
Reports suggest Scofield is hopeful to be reunited with Sara and his son in "Prison Break" Season 5; however, Sara is already married although she is still watching over Michael's son.
Wentworth Miller, who plays the role of Scofield, teases fans about the fate of his character. In an interview with TV Line, Miller said, "The question is, once he gets there will she even recognize him? Is he still the man she fell in love with? Because he has done some dark things and walked some shady roads, so my question is, and it was interesting to play, does Michael deserve that happy ending?"
From the trailer of "Prison Break" Season 5, Scofield and his brother Lincoln Burrows are breaking out of a Yemeni prison. The upcoming season of the highly-anticipated Fox drama is said to be "more worldly" compare to its previous seasons according to actor Dominic Purcell.
"The show is taking place in Yemen; we're dealing with ISIS and ISA, and obviously we left off [the original series] with Michael presumably dead. He wasn't, he ended up working for this organization," Express quoted Purcell as saying.
Reports suggest "Prison Break" Season 5 is currently on its post-production. While there has not been announcement regarding its premiere date, fans will expect the return of some familiar faces including Amaury Nolasco and Robert Knepper.
