Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has reportedly replaced her rival Kangana Ranaut in superstar Shahrukh Khan's 'Dwarf' movie.
Shahrukh Khan will be essaying a role of 'dwarf' man in director Anand L Rai's untitled project. Kangana Ranaut was reportedly roped in to play female lead in the romance drama opposite Khan.
Latest media reports, however, suggest that Rai is planning to replace "Tanu Weds Manu" actress her with Katrina Kaif. He is apparantely 'unconfortable' with Kangana for her interference in the movie beyor her own responsibility. The director-actress duo worked together in "Tanu Weds Manu" and "Tanu Weds Manu Returns."
"Kangana is invested in a film beyond her own responsibility. She likes to collaborate on the script, costume and other departments. And Aanand had become uncomfortable with that even in Tanu Weds Manu Returns," a source said, Bollywood Life reported. "He appreciates that she wants to be involved every step of the way, but he doesn't want to risk casting two headstrong personalities like Shah Rukh Khan and Kangana in the same film."
Ranaut, on the other hand, is busy with shooting for her next "Simran" in United States,Times of India reported. She will be essaying a role of housekeeper in the Hansal Mehta-directed flick.
Katrina Kaif, who is currently busy with promotion of her upcoming movie "Baar Baar Dekho" opposite Sidharth Malhotra, might soon sign the dotted line. The movie will mark Shahrukh Khan and Katrina Kaif's second project together after Yash Raj Films' "Jab Tak Hai Jaan." Shahrukh Khan will start shooting for the movie after wrapping up Imtiaz Ali's "The Ring."
