Mirror reported that the rapper's fashion show held in Roosevelt Island on Wednesday was nothing but a flop show. The much hyped fashion show was held to kick off New York Fashion Week but it ended up kicking controversies instead.
For starters, the models were struggling to walk on the runway. Model Amina Blue had to take off her shoes in order to walk down the ramp. Daily Mail also reported that few models fainted on the sidelines because of the torturous heat. One such model had to be given medical assistance and was carried away. And the icing on the cake were his designs. His clothes were '"rubbished by fashion critics"' as the daily reports.
The show started one and a half hours late. Until then guests and models were made to wait in the 86 degrees heat. Unfortunately, the poor models had to stand without any shade. Some even fainted on the sidelines. Guests and models were kept dehydrated and his signature neutral colored bodysuits and jumpsuits were criticised right left and centre.
An editor from a website was quoted as saying, "The #YeezyBus is really glamorous, guys! Especially when the bathroom door swings open and nearly slaps us".
Guests included of editors, bloggers and close aides. Some of the guests also complained of the lack of snacks and freebies. Stella Bugbee, editor of The Cut magazine took to Twitter to express her disappointment.
"Most awful thing I have ever seen at #NYFW. Getting the f*** out of this. #YeezySeason4 what a nightmare," she tweeted.
