Nothing can stop Oh My Girl from giving their all during a show on Sunday where they performed "WINDY DAY" on a slippery stage. The eight-member group showed professionalism despite seeing other members fall down over wet platform.
According to Allkpop, Oh My Girl member Hyojung was the first one who fell hard during the early stage of their performance. But despite the misfortune, Hyojung immediately stood up and continued her performance with a smile.
Meanwhile, Arin also fell on her knees during their "WINDY DAY" performance. And just like her co-member, she abruptly got up with confidence and professionalism to finish the performance.
Oh My Girl is not the first group to experience performing on a slippery stage. Last year, a G-Friend member flipped on stage not only once, but eight times within a four-minute performance of their single "Me Gustas Tu," Time reported.
Another member of G-Friend also fell over the slippery stage, however, the Korean girl group braved the rain and managed to finish their performance gracefully. Meanwhile, many netizens expressed their concern after seeing the video of G-Friend's performance.
"Honestly after the first couple of slips, the performance should have been stopped. No fan wants to see their idol fall like this again and again. Thankfully none of them were seriously injured," a commenter wrote.
G-Friend's viral video has been viewed over 11 million times after it was uploaded on the same day of their performance.
On the other hand, despite calls for an improvement for outdoor concerts, it seems like organizers have yet to address this issue after the recent incident of Oh My Girl.
