"Heroes of the Storm" game director Dustin Browder has left the MOBA game for an unannounced project. Some speculate that the project may be another first person shooter game.

Announced on the Battle.net forum, Browder has announced his departure from the project and begun transitioning his responsibilities to former technical director Alan Dabiri.

"We sometimes get exciting chances to work on other projects," Browder said in the forum. "I'm going to take one of those chances to try something new at Blizzard."

Browder is not the only one leaving one franchise to begin working on another project. Earlier in October this year, "World of Warcraft" director Tom Chilton also left the world-renowned MMORPG onto a new, yet-unannounced project.

"My personal journey working on WoW as Game Director is at an end," Chilton explained, "but my journey with Blizzard isn't. I'll still be here, but will be focusing on another project within the company."

Other news involves Blizzard opening slots for job hires for an unannounced first-person game. Some may even suspect that this might be a single-player component for studio's hit multiplayer shooter, "Overwatch."

As a response, however, Blizzard mentioned to IGN: "We're always working on different ideas behind the scenes, usually on the side or in smaller groups until we decide to move forward".

It may be possible that both Browder and Chilton are each working on their separate prototypes or designs for their unannounced projects.

What this project could be, no one knows. Previously, fans speculated that it may have been
an upcoming "Diablo 4," but with the emergence of a "Diablo 1" remake being playable in "Diablo 3," that possibility may have been shelved - for now.

Others even suspect another "Warcraft" RTS game or even something similar to Blizzard's cancelled MMO "Titan," the initial project that gave rise to "Overwatch."
