Crayon Pop’s ‘Winter Party Project’ exceeds expected goal

Crayon Pop’s recent fundraising project has come to end with flying colors after the group had accumulated an amount of almost $ 53 million, six times more than the initial goal!

The band started accumulating funds on November 10 last year in the crowd-funding platform Makestar with the goal of collecting an amount of $8,608.08. And after 323 backers, Crayon Pop have garnered a total of $52,093.40 as the bidding ended on January 31.

According to All KPop, the money collected in the project will be used to fund the upcoming “Winter Party”which will happen anytime in February. Furthermore, the group also revealed that amazing performances, games, and surprises await the participating fans.

Meanwhile, group member Soyul, together with her fiance Moon Hee Jun, was recently chosen as the new endorsers of Kwangdong Pharmaceutical. In the posters released by the brand, the couple looked adorable as they pose for the camera together. In fact, in one of the shots, the former H.O.T. member was seen to be sitting inside a grocery cart that Soyul is holding.

Moon’s announcement of marrying the Crayon Pop member in November last year had been a shocker to everyone as their relationship was not even known to the public. However, the actor the actor reasoned out that he chose to keep it from everyone to give their romance some privacy.

On his appearance on the January 19 installment of JTBC's ”We Will Eat Well”, Moon revealed how he asked Soyul’s hands for marriage. According to him as quoted by All KPop: "I proposed after about a month and a half of dating. I sincerely asked her to marry me. I said, 'I thought about it a lot and I think it'll be good for us to marry. Is it too fast?', and she said that we should in 5 years."

The power couple is set to tie the knot on February 12 this year. Their wedding ceremony is set to take place at Seoul's Shilla Hotel.
