South Korean girl group MAMAMOO will be making an exciting cameo in the Korean version of the American comedy-drama television series, Entourage.

It was revealed on Wednesday, June 15 that MAMAMOO filmed a scene for Entourage as themselves. This will be the first time that the members of the group, namely, Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa, will appear in a TV series.

Since the show is set in the entertainment industry and revolves around the life of an up-and-coming star, several stars are expected to make cameo appearances. Running Man star Song Ji Hyo is expected to also appear in the TV series.

In March, the cast of the highly anticipated series was announced. They are Seo Kang Joon, Park Jung Min, Lee Dong Hwi and Lee Kwang Soo. The show will follow the life of Young Bin (played by Seo Kang Joon) and his experiences as a talent under an entertainment company headed by the character of Jo Jin Woong.

The original series was loosely based on Mark Wahlberg's experiences when he was just starting out in the film industry. The series centered on his relationship with friends, as well as on real life dealings in Hollywood.

The show, based on the Korean version, will see many cameos of famous celebrities--from actors to models and athletes to TV presenters. These celebrities will likely portray fictionalized versions of themselves.

The upcoming Korean remake of Entourage can be pre-recorded and is slated to be aired in the summer.
