Lee Hye-ri, from Korean girl group Girl's Day, will co-host "Idol Star Athletics Championship" with Jun Hyun-moo and Lee Soo-geun. The show is an annual sporting event between Korean idols, and will be held starting Aug. 29 on MBC.
Idol Star Athletic Championship (ISAC) began in 2010 during Chuseok, a Korean thanksgiving day. On Aug. 17, MBC decided to appoint Lee as co-host of the event, Soompi reported. In its official announcement, an MBC representative shared, "Jun Hyun Moo, Lee Soo Geun, and Hyeri have been confirmed as the MCs for the 'Idol Star Athletics Championships.'"
According to Officially K-Music, ISAC kicked off in 2010 on MBC as an athletic event. Along the years another sports event were added. Now it also includes archery, athletics, futsal, and wrestling.
