"Arrow" will tackle the complicated relationship of Oliver and Felicity in Season 5. A producer from the series has teased that fans will see a "heavy" scene between the former couple in an upcoming installment. In other developments, "Jessica Jones" actor Wil Traval has been tapped to play DC's Human Target on the CW series.
Speaking with IGN , executive producer Marc Guggenheim previewed a "heavy" scene for Oliver and Felicity in the fifth episode of "Arrow" Season 5. While details are scarce, the showrunner noted that it is "probably the most Olicity-centric" hour they have created for the new season. Whether or not the ex-couple will touch on their romantic past, is something fans will have to tune-in for.
Meanwhile, a new DC character is headed to Star City. KSite TV reported that "Arrow" just added "Jessica Jones" actor Wil Traval to its Season 5 cast as Christopher Chance aka "Human Target." The actor is booked to appear in episode 5.
Traval's latest DC gig is described as a professional bodyguard and a master of disguise who assumes the identities of those targeted by assassins. On "Arrow," his latest client is no other than Mayor Oliver Queen himself. In the comics, the character first appeared in issue #419 of Action Comics in the early 1970s.
Traval joins previously cast Dolph Lundgren (The Expendables) as Oliver's adversary in Russia, Joe Dinicol (The Blindspot) as DC's Ragman and Cody Rhodes (WWE) as a potential new villain.
"Arrow" Season 5 premieres on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at 8PM on the CW.
