Rapper Kasper has called it quits between her and Geeks member Louie after more than a year of dating. On Thursday, the former member of Play The Siren confirmed through her label DSP Media that she and Louie are no longer together.
Despite their break up, Kasper reportedly said they "intend to cheer and support each other on in the future," Allkpop noted. Although Kasper and Louie's relationship was not known publicly, followers of the two idols knew the two were going out even before the Geeks member joined Mnet's "Unpretty Rapstar 2."
Louie made his debut with Lil Boi as Geeks duo in 2011 with a mini album titled "Officially Missing You." The two artists are under Grandline Entertainment and Rainbow Bridge World. Their hit song "Washing Away" received nominations for titles Song of the Year, Best Rap Performance, Rap/Hip Hop and 20's Hot Rapper.
Meanwhile, Kasper debuted with hip-hop group Play The Siren in 2014 with the release of their single "Dream Drive" under Baljunso and SM Entertainment; however, the Korean rapper later pursued a solo career and signed an exclusive contract with DSP Media just this year.
"She has the kind of image where she will be good at acting as a lover or girl crush. We will try our best for Kasper to become a better artist," DSP Media said in a dispatch as noted by Kmusic.
Kasper became popular after participating in "Unpretty Rapstar 2" and "Show Me The Money." Aside from that, the Korean rapper also maintains a YouTube channel where she features her daily routine and rap covers.
Reports suggest Kasper is currently gearing up for her comeback this year.
