Charlotte will get embroiled in a bloody murder investigation on "Lucifer." In other developments, series star Tom Ellis hints that Chloe and Lucifer are likely develop romantic feelings for each other.
It will be an episode filled with blood and murder on next Monday's "Lucifer." As revealed in the official plot synopsis, the investigation is not just an ordinary case - as it involves Lucifer's mother, Charlotte who has been found on the crime scene. As Charlotte becomes a person of interest, Lucifer will refuse to believe her story and will resort to more creative ways.
"Not wanting to leave her on her own, he instructs Maze to babysit her - and not to torture her, allowing him to investigate the case with Chloe," the synopsis reads.
Titled "Liar, Liar, Slutty Dress on Fire," the second hour of "Lucifer" Season 2 will feature guest appearances of Eric Ladin, Colin Egglesfield and Michael Goorijan.
In other developments, series star Tom Ellis spoke with Empire and weighed-in as to whether or not Lucifer's relationship with Chloe Decker will evolve into something more. Ellis did not dismiss the idea, acknowledging that the duo feels drawn to each other. He also allowed that this relationship may come into "fruition" as the series progresses.
"Everyone else can see that these two are probably in love with each other, but it's much more fun to watch them bicker and be at odds with each other whilst all that is going on underneath," Ellis told the publication.
"Lucifer" Season 2 airs every Monday at 9Pm on FOX.
