Lionsgate and Saban have just released posters of the new "Power Rangers" characters along with their respective Zords. A scheduled panel on Oct. 8 will feature stars as well as filmmakers from the exceptionally expected feature films "John Wick: Chapter 2" and Saban's "Power Rangers."
These humongous offensive vehicles called Zords are what the rangers would control during a combat. Megazords, on the other hand, combines the offensive vehicle with the human body to produce an extreme fighting mechanism. The released exciting posters will make fans sigh with astonishment, though the images are not in full view.
Zords come in several forms with some taking the shape of animals, existing, legendary, and vanquished. Some appear to be like a humanoid such as Super Zeo Zords and Shogunzords while others simply look like a titanic machine. It was rumored that Pink Ranger's Zord is a Pterodactyl while Red Ranger's Zord is a Tyrannosaur, MovieWeb reported.
According to ComicBook, the best full look at the Zords will be unveiled at the New York Comic-Con. The Power Rangers' costumes reveal numerous futuristic and alien origins.
Meanwhile, fans will have to do with the Q&A discussion with the Saban's "Power Rangers" and "John Wick: Chapter 2" casts and producers including an exclusive, first time to be seen footage from both films. It was not yet confirmed who of the cast members will come for the panel.
The Theater at Madison Square Garden will host the panel Oct. 8 at 2 PM. It was confirmed by director Dean Israelite that the Dinozords and Alpha 5 will return; however, it is uncertain if Dinozords or Zordon will be unveiled in the first footage to exhibit at next month's New York ComicCon.
"Power Rangers" characters are Dacre Montgomery (Jason as Red Ranger), Naomi Scott (Kimberley as Pink Ranger), RJ Cyler (Billy as Blue Ranger), Ludi Lin (Zach as Black Ranger) and Becky G (Trini as Yellow Ranger). Elizabeth Banks stars as Rita Repulsa, the villainous alien witch. The movie is set to release on March 24, 2017.
