"Doctor Strange" star Benedict Cumberbatch discussed his preparation for the role and his experiences in filming.
In an interview, Cumberbatch said that he had been exposed to some of the coldest temperatures on earth while filming. He also said that just his character, he is also on the process of learning authentically as the filming went on, Screen Rant reported.
"I just stepped out of a refrigerator-no, I mean, almost. I've been stranded on the side of Mount Everest. I don't know what I can say. It's such a weird process, I'm still not used to it. Yeah, I've been literally exposed, in what I'm wearing, to some of the coldest temperatures on earth and I'm struggling to get back the way I came to this place," he said.
He went to say that he enjoyed wearing different costumes for the role but admitted that he had to earn the physicality needed for the role. However, in some of the takes, he admitted that the costumes gave him some physical limitations.
Before its release "Expand Your Mind: An IMAX 3D Exclusive First Look" event which will screen the first 15 minutes of the film which will be played at over 115 movie theaters across North America on October 10, 2016. In a teaser released for the event, there was also a quick name drop of the Avengers, Slash Film reported.
Marvel's "Doctor Strange" follows the story of world-famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange in his path to becoming the Sorcerer Supreme while trying to heal his hands after a horrific car accident. The film is set to open on November 4, 2016.
